Everything you need to know about delivery times, shipping costs, and package tracking.

Where do we deliver?

We ship to almost all locations in India where there is reach of the Indian Postal Network or courier.

Shipping Costs & Taxes

How much does Shipping and Delivery cost?

Shipping and delivery charges are according to the weight of the book. Some items may attract Handling Charges, which are payable extra. Handling Charges, when applicable are clearly mentioned in the Product Specifications page. Handling Charges are applied wherever the volumetric weight of the item is more and/or the item needs special packing & shipping care. Few remote locations need extra payment beyond this for Bulky Sports equipment (e.g. North East, Andaman Island etc).

Octroi

Certain states in India levy Octroi or other forms of excise duty on all in-bound goods in certain categories. Should your shipping address be in any of these locations, you may have to pay the Octroi or the appropriate levy. This amount of money will be collected from you by the shipping/courier/transport company.

How long does the delivery take?

Major destinations are serviced by known national courier companies and deliveries normally take 1-7 days. You can track the status and location of your parcel after dispatch on the respective courier’s website using the parcel’s tracking code. Remote locations where there is no coverage by our empanelled couriers get serviced through Speed Post. Delivery through India Post normally takes longer for some locations and rare situations.

When you place an order, the estimated shipping/dispatch and estimated delivery time will be specified based on the availability of the item, your delivery location and coverage by our empanelled couriers. Generally the dispatch timeline falls under below categories:

In Stock

All Items are currently in stock with us and may likely be shipped within 24 hours from the date of order, excluding Sunday and National Holidays.

Out of Stock

These items are currently out of stock. We accept email IDs and will intimate you once the items are back in stock.

Pre-Order

The stock of these products is expected shortly (usually within 2-3 weeks). We accept email IDs and will intimate you once ready to ship.

Note: Items ordered on Saturday after 4 p.m. will take an extra day to ship due to the weekend.

Tracking Packages

We will email you the name of the courier company and the tracking number of your consignment on your registered email address. In case you do not receive a mail from us within 24 hours of placing an order please check your spam folder. Tracking may not appear online for up to another 24 hours in some cases, so please wait until your package is scanned by the courier company.

Non-availability on Delivery

Our delivery partners will attempt to deliver the package thrice before it is returned back to our warehouse. Please provide your mobile number in the delivery address as it will help in making a faster delivery.

Price Inaccuracy

There might be inadvertent situations where, there might be a typographical error, or a database error which causes an erroneous price to show on the web site. In these situations, we will reserve the right to process the order, cancel the order or prefer to choose to sell the merchandise at the corrected price.

Item not received past delivery date

Orders that are sold and fulfilled by us and shipped via a trackable method (such as a courier company) will have tracking information available in Your Account. Please check this information if available and read through the following options:

  • If Tracking Shows Delivered Please check with your neighbours, family members or security guard of your building. Packages are occasionally left with neighbours, a building manager, or are placed somewhere relatively safe such as your porch, or your mailbox.
  • If Tracking Shows Returned If the tracking information indicates the package is being returned to us, or if the address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable.
  • If No Tracking Information Exists If there is no tracking information or you cannot locate the package and it is not being returned as undeliverable, please e-mail us at prepwordsup@gmail.com.
